This seven-part training series will help students understand the fundamentals of HVAC&R preventative maintenance and troubleshooting. The series familiarizes students with chiller, air handler, cooling tower, and condenser operations as well as how to perform basic preventative maintenance tasks. It also shows how preventative maintenance practices can be used in troubleshooting common HVAC&R problems.

The HVAC&R series is designed for maintenance technicians or anyone involved in an HVAC&R maintenance training program. It does not assume any previous knowledge of HVAC systems. All the terms used are defined or explained throughout the courses, so students are not required to have an extensive technical vocabulary to understand the content.
